Domein DNS setup Zpanel Hosting
The following article describes how to setup your domain DNS to point the IP address to Zpanel hosting
You can change the DNS settings (DNS zones, DNS records) such as the A record. The A record is the DNS record that holds which IP address the domain should point to. By default, this will point to the IP address for your hosting package however to point the IP address to Zpanel hosting you need to change your domain’s DNS configuration, you must first login to your Online Control Panel of your domain hoster and click on the DNS change (This will primarily differ from managed hosting services)
Ensure you set the following record to make usage of the Zpanel server
Host | Type | Extra | Points to |
domain.com | MX | Priority 20 | mail.domain.com |
*.domain.com | A | 185.106.152.157
domain.com | A | 185.106.152.157
mail.domain.com | A | 185.106.152.157
live.domain.com | A | 185.106.152.157
www.domain.com | CNAME | domain.com |
Live example (You can leave the Name Server (NS) unchanged)
As with all DNS changes, it may take up to one hour before the changes are recognized by all servers/computers on the internet.
